1979년 3년 설립된 코엑스는 국제전시 및 국제회의 개최를 통한 국제교류의 장을 마련하고 각종 문화, 예술행사의 개최를 통해 명실상부한 대한민국 최고의 전시컨벤션센터로 자리매김하였습니다.

지상4층, 지하4층, 총 36,364m²(연면적 43만m²) 12개의 전문 전시실과 7000명을 동시에 수용할 수 있는 컨벤션홀을 비롯하여 61개의 회의실, 최고의 편의시설과 첨단관리시스템을 갖춘 오피스빌딩을 갖추고 있습니다.

뿐만 아니라 2000년 5월 초대형 복합 문화공간인 코엑스몰, 2004년 8월 코엑스 아트홀의 개장, 2009년 4월 코엑스아티움의 개관으로 문화예술 향유 욕구 충족과 편의시설 확충의 꿈을 실현해 나가고 있습니다.
