PLUS SEOUL provides comprehensive support to international conferences
held in Seoul through their entire cycle from bidding to promotion and hosting

Eligibility

Seoul offers supports for international conferences that meet the criteria below according to the event type.

    • Delegates from more than 3 countries
    • Over 100 total delegates, over 50 foreign delegates
    • 2 days or longer

      •   * Not eligible for:
            1) Events organized by social clubs, fan clubs, religious organization, online, or governmental organization
            2) A simple competition, contest, game, lecture, webinar, speculative nature, or job training session alone

Support Stages

  • Attracting Stage
    Bidding activities to
    bring an international
    conference to Seoul
  • Promoting Stage
    Promotional activities
    after confirming to hold
    an international
    conference in Seoul
  • Hosting Stage
    Hosting an international
    conference in Seoul from
    January to November
    of the current year

※ Support for Bidding and Promoting Stage are offered for the previous conferences of the one to be hosted or the conferences related

Support Details

· The specific amount of financial support will be determined throughboth quantitative and qualitative assessments in the year of the event.

Application and support process

When to Apply
Apply at least three months prior to the opening date
How to Apply
Use the automated on-line application via the SCB’s official website at www.miceseoul.com
All the application should be prepared and submitted by a local organization, and the financial support from SCB will be provided to the local organization.
